I didn't choose marketing. It chose me – at a cinema box office.
2012. I was a student selling tickets. Three months later – assistant manager. Another year and a half – manager. And just three months after that – Head of Marketing. Not by plan, and not because of a degree. I was just genuinely curious: why people come, what makes them return, and what drives them to spend more. That curiosity was what kept pushing me up.
By 2014, I had a solid grasp of traditional marketing. But I could feel the ground shifting beneath my feet: digital was rapidly taking over the market. Staying where I felt comfortable meant getting left in the past.
In 2016, I went freelance – I saw more room for growth there. I started with SMM and grew it into my own SMM agency. But clients kept asking the exact same thing: “Where are the results?” That question shifted my focus toward performance marketing. I went back to freelancing, dived deeper into data and numbers – and in 2022, that evolved into my own performance marketing agency.
Then I made a choice that rarely comes easy: depth over volume. Fewer projects – but bigger and more complex. Shortly after, I joined an international performance marketing agency that operates globally, wins international awards, sets high service standards, and brings together people who are truly passionate about what they do. For the first time, I wasn't on my own – I was among my people.
Today, I’m still driven by that very same curiosity – only now, it goes deeper.
To me, marketing and sales are inseparable – they’re part of a single system built for business results. But that system, too, operates under the laws of a larger one: the business itself.
